UMGC Icon Sets
As one of my first projects that I was put in charge of within a managerial position, UMGC (University of Maryland Global Campus) brought along many different types of challenges and creative endeavors.
One of those creative endeavors includes an icon set of over 80+ icons. Each of these icons represented different courses and subjects that were to be used within their learning management system, Bright space. Staying within their branding and identity, each icon was to be made within the same style and structure to make the entire set as coherent as possible.
Furthermore, this partner requested the creation of template graphics that were to be used within their learning management system such as banners and course cards. However, they decided to pursue a different course of action. Instead, choosing to only using images instead of graphics. Managing over 100+ courses with 6-12 images per course, my role as a graphic design lead was instruct the graphic design interns as well as keep track of an extensive amount of images without re using specific imagery.
